In becoming the publisher of John Allegro’s seminal book ‘The Sacred Mushroom & The Cross’ Jan found connections between the LSD gurus of the 60′s counter culture and a myriad of government and intelligence groups. Prominent among them R. Gordon Wasson, a JP Morgan Banker who led Jan into a whole new area of research in the psychedelic arena.
